So the communities I joined…hmm. Although some posts are interesting, they are taking over my friends page! Within two hours, I deleted “ohnotheydidnt” because it was overwhelming the stuff that was in there. Now I am considering deleting the other communities as well because they are just as overwhelming. When I go through almost 100 posts and finally find those of my actual friends, that is a little sad!! I could filter, but…ugh, lazy. I don’t know, we shall see.
Up early today and I want to get so much stuff done, but I am frustrated because I took too many pills this weekend (and gave one away) and now I will need to be totally careful. This means that I either a) get nothing done and only be in minimal pain, b) get things done and just be in pain and deal, or c) get things done and take pills as needed and worry about the aftermath of being short on pills later. Sigh, so frustrating!! I cannot WAIT until the day when my life and what I do is not dependent on those damn things.
I was going to do a Slim-Fast shake this morning but I might have a piece of KFC chicken instead (LOL, I accidentally typed ‘children’ instead of ‘chicken’). Jeremy is on his diet and I don’t think Brooke will be eating any, so I don’t want to waste it. I could always use the protein I suppose.
I have so much crap to do, groan. My mom will be here in two weeks, I am leaving in four. I need to get stuff done dammit!! It is all the paperwork that I have to do that is driving me crazy honestly. It is the same with the computer, hunching over to see something hurts SO bad. But the paperwork has to go out today.
I have to go wake up Brooke now. She is getting to be so grumpy these days, I hope this morning is different.

I got this from the
wls, it was posted today and totally gives me thought. I could probably go on and on about it all day.
-134 million American adults are overweight or obese.
-205,000 Americans had weight-loss surgery in 2007.
-Average weight-loss a year after bariatric surgery: 61 percent
-Average cost of surgery: $17,000 to $25,000, but can go higher.
Ya see, the problems is that in our society we are almost pressured to be fat. Our ancestors were thinner for many reasons. Number one, they had access to fresh food all the time. They grew their own gardens or shared with neighbors that did. They had chickens and cows and pigs, thus they had fresh meat. They had the mentality of “using the daylight hours” so they worked and did chores until the sun went down. They walked more, rode their bikes more, and did more hard labor. Today though, things are much different. We have to specifically plan to exercise, scheduling it in as if it were some kind of appointment. We eat “fast food’, even if it isn’t from a restaurant. We are short on money so we buy food at wholesale prices with lots of preservatives so they will last longer in our fridge or pantries. We have jobs where we sit down and work. We have TVs and computers to entertain us, more sitting. We have magazines and TVs telling us that we are fat and we need to lose weight, that message often brings about reverse psychology and we end up bingeing even more than before. A lot of people are on medication now for diseases that weren’t as prevalent in the old days, for reasons I explained above, but those medications also slow down our metabolism which also makes it harder to lose weight and be more healthy.
We feel bad about our own bodies. But we don’t have to. I have got to say, and I am not biased at all, I have some of the most attractive group of people on my friend’s list and in real life. Yet, almost all of you and almost all of the people that I know in real life too, are all on diets and watching what they eat. You all think you need to lose weight, even if you look really healthy. Be careful what other people make you believe, what the media makes you believe.
